Antonio AventurinIn October 2015, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Affairs of St. Maarten signed an educational partnership with Pittsburgh Technical Institute (PTI) . This arrangement will enable students from St.Maarten to pursue program-specific post secondary education at the associate degree and certificate levels at PTI.
This past week, Ms. Amique Mars made history when she became the first St.Maartener to attend PTI under this new agreement.
Amique will be pursing an associates degree in Surgical Technology.
