CRIB number
- Download and complete the application form
- Submit the following documents to the Public Service Center (Philipsburg or Simpson Bay):
- Completed application form
- Registration form (original and no older than 6 months)
- A copy of Sint Maarten ID
- Or email the documents directly to
Proof of Application
Proof of application or admittance letter from the intended educational institution (SBO, MBO, college or university).

- An acceptance letter

Detailed registration form
A declaration from the basic administration of the Civil Registry with the applicant’s personal information, address, parents, registration date, etc..
How to obtain a Detailed Registration Form?
- Option 1: Walk-In Daily
- Report to the Government Building before 8.30 am
- Take a number
- Maximum 40 numbers are awarded daily
- Option 2: Online Appointment
Certificate of good health
A declaration from your house doctor as evidence of good health.

Proof of Dutch nationality
A copy of your Dutch passport or a registration from the Civil Registry

In the event of Naturalization, proof.
A letter from the Governor regarding the ceremony is not valid proof

Tax declaration
All study financing applicants are required to submit tax declaration from the Inspectorate of Taxes supporting parental and/or personal income for the previous tax year.
In 2024, taxes for 2022 is required.
An applicant can used their personal tax declarations, if they are:
- Studying at USM, NIPA or Online AND
- Permanently employed AND
- Living independently from their parents.
