Vacancy: Senior Study Financing Officer

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth & Sports, Division Study Financing is currently recruiting an enthusiastic, dynamic, result-oriented, motivated, innovative, young professional for the following position:

Main tasks

Main tasks and responsibilities consist of the following, but are not limited to:

  • Coordination of the career- and student guidance counselling services.
  • Coordination and management of the study financing recipients tracking system.
  • Coordination of the dissemination of study financing related information.
  • Coordination and supervision of the study financing application and issuance process.
  • Financial management, supervision and control of study financing recipients.

Knowledge and skills

Knowledge and skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Education, Social Work, Communication or Business Administration;
  • Working and thinking level: bachelor or academic;
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in study financing policy and legislation and or execution of policies and legislation;
  • In depth knowledge of the local, regional and international secondary- and tertiary level educational systems;
  • Must have an affinity and interest in customer service, study financing target groups and experience working in a production/results-driven environment;
  • Must be familiar with the working environment of Division Study Financing and experience working in a complex, political-administrative environment and able to contribute to it positively;
  • Able to work independently and establish relationships and or connections with colleagues and other stakeholders;
  • Ability to work in a high paced and demanding environment whilst maintaining a cool head in hectic situations and work efficiently and within the specified deadlines;
  • Good communication and writing skills in the English and Dutch language (verbal & written);

Salary Indication

Salary Indication:

Your salary will be dependent on your qualifications, experience and will range between minimum NAf. 3,751.00 and a maximum of NAf. 7,627.00 per month.
